We Changed our name to help Change the World

Heroes Sports Park (formerly Corpus Christi Athletic Association) is a 501(C)3 Nonprofit that has served it’s community for over 50 years!

Heroes Sports Park got it’s new name in 2019 in hopes of introducing American Heroes to our Country’s Future and most precious commodity…. our Children!

America’s Pastime has been long known as the game of Baseball.

America’s Heroes who serve our Great Country daily include… Emergency Medical Services, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, United States Military & School Teachers.

All Children of an above listed Hero will play FREE at Heroes Sports Park!

The first step for Heroes Sports Park was to plan for the much needed upgrades to the facility which include….

  • Updated playing surfaces for a Safe Place for Kids to Play.
  • ADA Compliant Restrooms for the Elderly & our Handicapped Guests.
  • Expanded Concessions with Healthy Choices added to the menu.
  • New on site Building with access to Winter activities for the Children as well as meeting space for our Heroes.
  • Structural improvements to the existing building
  • Improved park navigation with concrete walkways to each field

For 2 Years Heroes Sports Park nonprofit board worked to raise money for the needed upgrades. Through events like Big Bounce House America, weekend Baseball Tournaments along with many other fundraisers, Heroes Sports Park was ready to approach Banks about getting a loan.

Excitement turns to Despair
In 2021, the all-volunteer Heroes Board took out a Large loan for the much-needed facility improvements, The project was to be completed in April 2022, ready for the spring baseball/softball season.

Unfortunately due to a Contractor Dispute that left the park unusable, Heroes Sports Park missed the entire 2022 Youth Sports season, for the first time in over 50 years local community children were denied access to this Landmark park!

2023 is here, the Park remains unusable, the loan is nearing default, and without the Park Open for 2023 there will be No More Revenue to make payments. Due to the Contractors Dispute, A well-known Youth facility serving Greater Cincinnati for generations is in serious jeopardy of losing its land.

Non-Paid Board Volunteers have been paying for things such as electricity to the facility and all other utilities out of their personal accounts.

Please see our Ways to Help page if your able to contribute and may God Bless your Donation!

Any Donations are to a charitable 501(c)(3) cause and are most likely able to be deducted from your taxes. Receipts are always provided with the Park’s 501(c)3 number.

With your help Heroes Sports Park can make a difference and help ensure we meet our communities most critical needs by investing in our Youth.
